New Layout & Header

Finally, after hours of working on my very first header, I'm pleased enough to use it for my new journal layout. Of course, I made a Grimmjow/Ichigo header because I'm utterly in love with these two Bleach characters, so a Grichi header it had to be. The header is by far not perfect, but for my very first one it is precious to me! :) I like it. This time I wanted to have a lighter layout. I've grown a bit tired of my past darkish one. I also made the fonts a tad bit bigger than in my previous layout. I hope it doesn't look wonky in other browsers! I only have Firefox 2 and it works fine with it.

I t looks great in both Firefox & IE (looks the same in both browsers).
The font is very pale against the white background - but I do have poor vision, so maybe I'm not the best judge of that.
The colours of the header against the pale ground look vibrant & absolutely gorgeous, with the pale blue is a glorious contrast. Fantastic!

The font is a bit pale, but everything should still be readable. I made them not too pale. Sometimes, if you have a laptop, the intensity of the font changes when you move your screen a bit up or down. (At least, I've experienced this.)

Thank you! I'm glad that you love the pale background coloring in comparison with the header (colors). That header was really hard for me to create. It was the first time that I made a graphic like this and it was so very hard. *lol*

Der Header ist schön.

Da ich ziemlich zoome (minimale Schriftgröße ist eh 14, wird aber trotzdem zu klein angezeigt), verschiebt sich die rechte Sidebar nicht komplett und legt sich über den Header. Da ich deine Seite aber sowieso über meine eigene Flist ansehe, ist das kein Problem.

Eine Frage noch: Was für eine Standard-Font hast du bei Firefox eingestellt. (nur aus Interesse)
Ich muss auch sagen, dass die Schriftfarbe in deinem neune Layout ziemlich blass ist. Schwer zu erkennen.

Standard Schrift ist Arial 16pt.

Ich weiß nicht, die einzige Schrift, die mir hier etwas blass ercheint, ist die Schriftfarbe, wenn man einen Kommentar schreib, man kann es aber immer noch lesen. Die anderen Schriftfarben, besonders die vom Entry, ist sehr gut lesbar. Ist ein dunkleres Grau auf weißem Hintergrund.

Mir sind beide zu hell. Lesbar sind sie, aber ich finde es anstrengend.
Wie gesagt, ich kommentiere und lese über meinen eigenen Journal Stil, also stört es mich nicht weiter.

Krass, dass für dich selbst die Entry Schrift zu hell ist. Ich finde sie okay so, viele Internetseiten haben so eine Darstellung der Schrift. Mhh.

Ah ja, der lang ersehnte neue Header. Ich find es klasse. Eigentlich dürfte ich das nicht sagen, aber Ichi und Grimm sehen sexy aus, so in dieser Pose. Ich mag das aprikot in deinem neuen Layout, seit ich Naruto mag, stehe ich auf alles, was so in die Richtung orange geht.

Ich mag auch die Schrift, ist nicht zu hell. Mal sehen, wie lange du es dieses Mal aushältst, bevor dich wieder das Verlangen nach Veränderung packt.

Lang ersehnt, ja. Ich kann gar nicht genau sagen, wieviele Stunde meines Lebens ich an dem Header gesessen habe. Ich musste oft ne Pause einlegen und hab dann erst nach Tagen wieder daran weitergearbeitet.

Mal sehen, ob ich mich nochmal an das Erstellen von Header wage.

Ich mag die Grimm/Ichi Pose auch sehr. Es suggeriert was slashiges, ganz meine Intention! Har har!

Schön, dass du auch die Schrift nicht zu hell findest! :) Ich bin auch gespannt, wie lange ich das Layout beibehalte, normal werden mir sämtliche Layouts nach 1 bis 3 Monaten schon wieder zu langweilig.
